Authorities say they pursued Stephens for about two miles and attempted to disable his vehicle using a PIT maneuver.

Facebook said it removed the video of the shooting 23 minutes after learning of it.

On Sunday, Stephens uploaded three videos to Facebook.

Stephens allegedly filmed himself committing the murder and published the video on Facebook along with another video in which he claims to have previously murdered an additional 13 people.

The worker, who recognized Stephens as the wanted Cleveland Facebook killer, is credited with stalling him at the drive-thru window Tuesday so authorities could have extra response time.

"Our hearts go out to the family and friends of Robert Godwin, Sr.", he said.
