Ed Villone, the commander of Youngstown State's police academy, said getting those questions answered now is going to be more of a challenge.

He then posted the shocking video to Facebook, triggering a widespread manhunt.

State police continue to work with federal and OH authorities, trying to build a timeline of the last few days in the life of Steve Stephens.

Police said he died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head on Tuesday afternoon after a brief pursuit by Pennsylvania state police.

Authorities say they pursued Stephens for about two miles and attempted to disable his vehicle using a PIT maneuver.

Facebook said it removed the video of the shooting 23 minutes after learning of it.

Stephens, who was 37, posted video on Facebook of his seemingly random killing of 74-year-old Robert Godwin Cleveland on Sunday.

Though shocked and deeply pained by their father's brutal murder, the children said they felt sorry for his killer.

Aaron Hernandez kills himself in prison
During the investigation, law enforcement officials said Hernandez was likely stewing over incidents at a night club . In a statement, his lawyer said there had been no warning signs that Hernandez was planning to kill himself.

"I feel bad, the last thing he would have said is my name and he didn't know me or why he was saying (it)", Lane told the sisters.

At the Tuesday conference in California, Facebook founder and Dobbs Ferry native Mark Zuckerberg expressed his condolences to the family of a Cleveland man whose death was posted on the social media site on Easter.

The man you see (above) is Steve Stephens, and you should consider him armed and risky.

On Sunday, Stephens uploaded three videos to Facebook.

Stephens allegedly filmed himself committing the murder and published the video on Facebook along with another video in which he claims to have previously murdered an additional 13 people.

The worker, who recognized Stephens as the wanted Cleveland Facebook killer, is credited with stalling him at the drive-thru window Tuesday so authorities could have extra response time.

"Our hearts go out to the family and friends of Robert Godwin, Sr.", he said.
