Giants' Eli Manning 'angry' over memorabilia lawsuit

A memorabilia dealer who is involved in the lawsuit alleging that the New York Giants and quarterback Eli Manning were complicit in passing off fake game-used memorabilia took to social media to explain where his company now stands. When asked about the lawsuit that accuses him of not being above-board with memorabilia collectors when it came to game-worn helmets and jerseys, the veteran signal-caller said he has "nothing to hide" and has "done nothing wrong".

Kaja Whitehouse and Bruce Golding of the New York Post provided "proof" of the quarterback's involvement, including emails asking the equipment managers for helmets "that can pass as game used".

"I will say", he continued, becoming visibly choked up, "that I've never done what I've been accused of doing".

Manning said the e-mails "were taken out of context".

Melania Trump reminds President Trump to raise hand for the national anthem
For much of the morning, there were reportedly no lines for games-from the roll itself to the bag toss and egg hunt. There had been some speculation about whether the Trumps would be able to pull off a successful "egg-stravaganza".

Caught in the middle of a fake memorabilia scandal, Eli Manning sounded his displeasure on Thursday when he addressed the issue head-on.

The e-mail was included in a court filing in Bergen County (New Jersey) Superior Court. The suit also alleges that the Giants were complicit by deleting the email from their accounts.

Syracuse University alum Brandon Steiner has made a name for himself as one of the leading sports memorabilia dealers in the world. The trial has been scheduled for September 25. "That's what I have done, and that's being attacked right now". I have no reason, nor have I ever had any reason, to do anything of that nature. "However, because this is a pending litigation, I will not be able to answer questions or go into specific details on the matter". There's nothing more important to me than the trust and authentication we have here at Steiner. "And I know that when this is all done, everybody will see it the same way".
