Labour leader says United Kingdom election 'establishment vs people'

In his first major speech of the general election campaign, the Labour leader vowed to "give people real control" and put Britain's wealth into their hands.

'Labour will make this country fairer and that's how they will overturn a rigged system.

However this idea has not yet got the backing of the leader of the opposition Jeremy Corbyn, the report said.

"We respect the result of the referendum, but there still has to be an economic relationship with Europe".

Invoking overtones of the type of message pushed home by US President Donal Trump, the Labour leader framed the election as establishment versus the people.

He added: "Walking away and trading under World Trade Organisation conditions will mean the manufacturing industry in this country would be severely damaged".

"I will vote Labour in this election and urge people to vote Labour".

Labour MP John Woodcock openly slammed Jeremy Corbyn in a scathing Facebook post.

She has promised "strong and stable leadership" as Britain begins talks on ending its 43-year-old membership of the European Union, which are likely to be tough.

Tories dub opposition 'coalition of chaos'. We truly are at a crossroads for Britain's future.

He derided what he branded the "morally bankrupt " Conservative Party, which, he argued, was determined to maintain the elitist system while cutting public services and blaming migrants and the unemployed for the woes of the economy.

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's office calls USA missile strike 'foolish, irresponsible'
British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson canceled a planned trip to Russian Federation because of fast-moving events in Syria. Mevlut Cavusoglu said Saturday that the USA intervention was only "cosmetic" unless it removes Assad from power.

The Party has been facing the hard task of securing votes from those who did not vote for Brexit in last year's referendum.

"We've set out our lines on negotiation".

"A second referendum is not our policy and it won't be in our manifesto", the spokesperson confirmed.

Prime Minister Theresa May announced on Tuesday that a snap general election would be held on June 8, despite having repeatedly said that the country would not be going back to the polling stations.

He singled out Mike Ashley, Sports Direct owner and Sir Philip Green who faced severe criticism from Corbyn of the BHS pension scandal. Butler said that Labour would make sure that businesses such as "Costa Coffee, etc, who don't pay their taxes" do pay their taxes.

"It is wealth that should belong to the majority and not a tiny minority".

"We don't accept that it is natural for Britain to be governed by a ruling elite, the City and the tax-dodgers, and we don't accept that the British people just have to take what they're given, that they don't deserve better".

Mr Corbyn's speech came amid speculation about Labour's taxation plans, after Mr McDonnell suggested the wealthy, who he defined as earning over £70,000 a year, should "pay their way more".

But shadow foreign secretary Emily Thornberry played down suggestions new taxes might be introduced at this level, telling BBC Radio 4's Today programme she understood why "many people" on this salary might feel they are "not rich".

She said the election was not "about changing the Government" but instead preventing Theresa May from getting the big majority she wants to help strengthen her position before Brexit negotiations.
