USA warned of retaliation after missile attack on Syria

Washington D.C. (USA), Apr. 10 (ANI): U.S. President Donald Trump is discussing with members of his administration the possibility of introducing sanctions against Russian Federation and Iran for supporting the Syrian Government.U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said on Sunday.

"If you look at his actions, if you look at the situation, it's going to be hard to see a government that's peaceful and stable with Assad", said Haley.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson in a phone call that an attack on Syria plays in the hands of extremists, Russia's Foreign Ministry said on Saturday after the phone call from Tillerson.

Rouhani said the US strike would not affect Iran's Syria policy, while Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Iran would not withdraw in the face of such aggressions.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Sunday condemned as "flagrant USA aggression on Syria" a US missile strike on a on a Syrian air base this week and criticised Gulf Arab states for supporting it, state television reported.

According to Bishop, the United States attack was a "proportionate response", to allegations that Assad used chemical weapons in the Syrian city of Idlib.

That's because almost all Republican lawmakers - and some Democrats - blame the Obama administration's "red line" policy for enabling Syria to keep using chemical weapons in the country's long and bloody civil war.

"We need to make it clear to Putin that the time to back Assad has gone", he said, warning that Putin was "damaging Russia" by supporting Assad.

FDA further restricts pain medication use in kids
Parents should carefully read drug labels to make sure medications don't contain either opioid, the agency stressed. The FDA also warned breast-feeding mothers to avoid using the medicines while nursing their babies.

Referring to its defense of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's regime, the group warned that they would support Syria and its people "with all means that we have". Earlier, U.S. military officials had said they were looking into whether Russian Federation participated, possibly by using a drone to help eliminate evidence afterward.

"We have got to be frank with them and we shouldn't just allow the Americans to go off and do that, we should be doing that ourselves".

"[Russian President Vladimir Putin] views the US strikes on Syria as aggression against a sovereign state in violation of the norms of global law and on a made-up pretext.", said Dmitry Peskov, a Kremlin spokesman, according to the Independent.

Earlier this week, a suspected chemical attack hit the town of Khan Sheikhun in Idlib, killing at least 87 civilians, including 31 children.

I directed this action in order to degrade the Syrian military's ability to conduct further chemical weapons attacks and to dissuade the Syrian regime from using or proliferating chemical weapons, thereby promoting the stability of the region and averting a worsening of the region's current humanitarian catastrophe.

While threatening further strikes, the USA envoy also said it was time to press on with a political solution to the six-year war. "The man who rules the US claimed that he seeks to fight terrorists, but this action of the USA made all the terrorists happy", Rouhani noted.

"The Russians were never targeted in this particular strike", Tillerson said.
