'Deadliest Catch' captain Sig Hansen tweets apology after arrest

Celebrity crab-boat captain Sig Hansen was arrested after he allegedly spat on an Uber driver in Seattle and kicked and dented the driver's auto upon learning he couldn't pay cash for his ride home.

A police report on the incident described Hansen as "intoxicated", and booked him for assault and property destruction.

After the news had broke Hansen released a statement to TMZ as he said: 'I am terribly sorry for my behavior and am very embarrassed by it.

The driver said the trip was then canceled in the app, leading to a dispute over charges. I hope I can make that apology in person.

The crab boat captain and two other people attempted to pay for their ride in cash around 2 a.m., Seattle Police Detective Mark Jamieson told the Times.
