Donald Trump Is Fighting With Disney World Over Hall Of Presidents Robot

This has been a challenge since Disney announced they would be updating the Hall of Presidents to include Trump alongside animatronic likenesses of every US president.

Disney is eager to add President Trump to its lineup of American leaders in the Liberty Square attraction at its Disney World resort in Orlando, Fla., and confirmed they'd be adding Robot-Trump early in 2016.

This was, after all, the original format of the attraction from when it opened in 1971 through the end of 1993, when the talking Clinton-bot was introduced.

Those presidents worked with Disney to craft a benign, non-partisan message appropriate for a family setting, Motherboard reports. Ever since President Bill Clinton, sitting USA presidents send audio recordings of themselves lavishing nonpartisan praises on the glory of America. After all, President Trump danced at the January inaugural ball to Frank Sinatra's "My Way", and his communication team made it very clear he meant to write and record the speech his way.

They're adding an animatronic of President Trump, as each president has one in the attraction.

Supreme Court Rules That Law Banning Offensive Names Is Unconstitutional
In 2014, the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board voted to cancel the six trademarks held by the team under the disparagement clause. While defending the First Amendment's freedom of speech protection, the justices did not remove all discretion from the U.S.

"The same thing that we've done with other presidents, is the same plan we have for President Trump", said Jacquee Wahler, vice president of communications, according to local TV station News 13.

Another possible reason for the delay is that President Trump has reportedly not been very helpful to Disney.

"When Disney tried to get this process started earlier this year", a source told Vice. Though the bust of Trump is ready to go, he remains speechless. Trump's people said, 'No. In a statement to the media, Trump's press team said that the Administration has been "working closely" and harmoniously with the Disney team, and that "the president's recording session" has been scheduled. We're writing this speech.

Of course, Disney could certainly choose to leave Trump out of the ride altogether - after all, it is their ride, not his. Given Trump's position that modern America is trash, in need of racial cleansing and longing for resuscitation by the white billionaire class, Disney faced a dilemma in how to incorporate his character. "It would most likely result in a call for conservatives to boycott Walt Disney World, which is the company's biggest fear".
