LG to release flagship G6 with extended memory capacity

LG has announced a new version of its current G6 flagship phone. If you have been following the news lately, then you might already be aware of the fact that the LG G6 has wireless charging in some markets whereas it doesn't have that feature in certain markets.

We'll leave it up to conjecture why LG didn't simply launch the LG G6 with three different storage configuration. In fact, it is yet to be seen if the company is planning on releasing them outside South Korea in other markets like the US etc.

Some countries such as the USA market have the LG G6 (launched at the MWC 2017) with support for wireless charging while other markets like South Korea have the device without wireless charging. It was speculated to be dubbed LG G6 Pro. Hence it is safe to say that the LG G6+ is the G6 which LG should have launched in the first place.

Running on Android 7.0 Nougat topped with LG UX 6.0, these phones come with a 13MP dual main snapper with dual tone LED flash, 4K video recording, OIS 2.0 and wide-angle lens.

Jimmy Kimmel: Kimmel also got in on it, saying, "The way we'll know Trump is a witch is when the White House falls on top of him". The Times points out that Trump's tweet came hours after an "oddly worded" statement by Rosenstein about leaks.

However, the LG G6+ which is now exclusively available in South Korea includes wireless charging feature as well as a higher storage capacity of 128 GB.

Two new colors are coming to the G6 Plus: Optical Marine Blue and Optical Terra Gold, which employ a lenticular film to create the namesake optical effect.

LG has only announced the G6 Plus internationally, we'll be checking in with LG Australia to see if there's any chance we'll see the updated unit here.

The LG G6 will also be available in Optical Marine Blue and Optical Terra Gold colour finishes. Rs. 45,000). However, the final pricing will be out only when these devices are released.
