1-year-old Delray Beach boy found in hot auto, later dies

Cops in Delray Beach, Florida, say Khayden Saint Saveur died after he became stuck inside the auto where temperatures are thought to have touched 65C (149F). Temperatures reached 90 degrees in Delray Beach on Saturday.

Police said young Khayden, who had just one month to go to his second birthday, may have wandered into the vehicle on his own. Unfortunately, Khayden was pronounced dead shortly afterward.

"It's tragic", said Carly Saint Saveur, the child's uncle.

"Right now Delray Beach police detectives are investigating to try to determine exactly what happened that led to this child being left in this vehicle", Officer Dani Moschella said. "He was such an active kid".

The front doors of Action Saint Saveur's auto were unlocked and it had a dead battery. "I don't know why this happened".

Investigators said they are still examining evidence and have yet to reach a definitive conclusion. Experts say that children's body temperature rises up to five times faster than adults.

Macron reiterates France's responsibility in WW2 mass round-up of Jews
At a ceremony attended by Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Mr Macron also pledged to fight continued anti-Semitism. Macron rolled out the red carpet for Trump on Friday when he was guest of honour for France's Bastille Day festivities.

Police are investigating how the boy got into the vehicle.

Police say a vehicle sitting out in this type of heat can reach 150 degrees in just a matter of minutes.

On Saturday evening, family and friends lined their cars on the street.

Family say the devastated dad has been hit very hard by the tragedy.

Anderson Exantus, a 19-year-old neighbor, said he would often see the little boy playing outside with his mother and siblings.

This would have made the temperature inside the auto much higher, with the police estimating it at 65 degrees. "He had lots of energy".
