National Football League suspends Vikings' Floyd for 4 games over alcohol violation

In December, while a member of the Arizona Cardinals, he was found unconscious behind the wheel of a running vehicle in Scottsdale, Ariz., and was charged with driving under the influence.

Floyd is eligible to return to the Vikings' active roster October 2.

Under the current policy, he faces a two-game unpaid suspension, at a minimum.

Floyd pleaded guilty to extreme DUI in February after Scottsdale police found him unconscious behind the wheel of his SUV in December.

Zimmer, asked by the Pioneer-Press about Floyd's kombucha tea defense, said he told Floyd, "If I find out you're lying to me, I'm going to cut you".

Mourinho to wait before Chelsea star can join United
Bakayoko uploaded a photo to his social media accounts on Friday of the Chelsea training pitches, with the caption "soon". Academy defender Jake Clarke-Salter, 19, has also penned a new four-year contract.

The arrest led to his release by the Arizona Cardinals before signing with the New England Patriots en route to earning a Super Bowl ring.

A native of St. Paul, he signed with the Vikings in the offseason. Floyd told the judge he'd been drinking kombucha tea, unaware that it contained alcohol, which accounted for the failed test.

"Floyd is eligible to participate in all preseason practices and games", the statement reads.

Michael Floyd will have to wait a few extra weeks before making his Minnesota Vikings debut - if he's still on the team come Week 5.

With Floyd out of action, Minnesota's primary receiving threats for the first three games are likely to be Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen and second-year man Laquon Treadwell. "We believe Michael of a productive member of the Vikings organization, both on and off the field".
