White House voter commission doxxes Americans by revealing emails & addresses - RT America

Many states rejected the commission's request for detailed data on voters, with some noting that sharing pieces of the requested data would violate state law. Furthermore, numerous emails include enough personal data that with a little Google detective work, a person who sent the email can plausibly be found. That is an unlawful use of New Mexico's voter data, and unless I can verify that your data will be protected, and no one's privacy will be violated, I cannot comply with the commission's request. "The federal government is attempting to get the name, address, birth date, political party, and social security number of every voter in the country".

Ironically, one of the users whose full name and address were exposed by the commission blatantly wrote in all caps, "DO NOT RELEASE ANY OF MY VOTER DATA, PERIOD".

The Trump administration has unwittingly doxxed more than 100 voters by publishing their email addresses and personal details on the White House website.

The White House did not redact personal information, like home and email addresses, for those who submitted contacts.

Numerous messages were filed through the activist portal Common Cause, and include only commenters' names.

Williams, a Republican, urged the voter commission to reach out to the Election Registration and Information Center - a 20-state group that maintains elections, motor vehicle, death, felon and other records and is maintained by member states' agencies.

Similarly, the FTC tells commenters that "published comments include the commenter's last name and state/country as well as the entire text of the comment".

The public was asked to submit comments via email to the voter integrity commission, which was set up through an executive order signed by Trump to investigate voter fraud.

The White House does not appear to have issued any such public guidelines or warnings prior to releasing the emails, all of which appear to have been sent to the Election Integrity Commissions' email address as listed in a letter sent to U.S. Secretaries of State. The emails published by the White House were written between June 29 and July 11.
