McAfee names Avril Lavigne and Craig David as most risky celebs

The report, which "reveals which celebrities generate the riskiest search results that could potentially expose their fans to malicious websites", is now in its 11th year, with past lists exposing the dangers of searching celebrities such as Amy Schumer and Emma Watson. Unfortunately it has nothing to do with how unsafe Avril's fashion sense was in the early 2000's, but rather how frequently searches for her name yield risky results like malicious websites and malware.

Why do you think Avril is the most unsafe celebrity to search?

Lavigne dropped off the scene for a bit, starting in 2014 as she grappled with Lyme disease.

According to McAfee, searching for "Avril Lavigne free mp3" results in a 22% chance of encountering a malicious site. We're not sure, but maybe it has to do with the ongoing internet conspiracy that Avril died and was replaced by an imposter years ago.

Bruno Mars was second on the list, followed closely behind by Jepsen.

LA County has its own hepatitis A outbreak
Most people sickened are the homeless, but there have been illnesses among people who aren't in that category. The two new cases involved homeless people who had not traveled to a place with an outbreak, Ferrer said.

McAfee's Nick Viney said: 'Having the latest hit albums, videos and movies available on our connected devices immediately is a tempting proposition. Zayn Malik (No. 4), Dion (No. 5), Calvin Harris (No. 6), Bieber (No. 7), Sean "Diddy" Combs (No. 8), Katy Perry (No. 9) and Beyoncé (No. 10) rounded out the top 10 list.

"However, consumers need to be aware of the cyber-security risks of clicking on links that promise the latest content from celebrities, particularly when they're offering free content".

Topping the list is Avril Lavigne-she's the first female musician to take the number one spot on the list.

"Thinking before clicking goes a long way to stay safe online", he said.
