Raiden Gameplay Trailer Released for Injustice 2

Somebody like Livewire, Static or Black Lightning. Thankfully, NeatherRealm Studios isn't leaving those fans hanging as Raiden will also be coming with a Black Lightning premier skin, which turns Raiden into the DC hero and gives him a new voice and completely unique voice lines as well. Raiden is the third "MK" character to be featured in the DC fighting game franchise along with Scorpion and Sub-Zero.

On Sunday, to celebrate the finals of the big Injustice 2 eSports tournament, WB Games released gameplay footage showing off the game's second Mortal Kombat guest character, Raiden. Raiden will join the Injustice 2 roster next month.

Then we see a few of Raiden's basic moves before we see the really cool ones come out.

Raiden, everyone's favourite lecky-throwing man of principles, was long ago announced to become a part of Injustice 2 in a Fighter Pack, but we now have our first proper look at the Mortal Kombat veteran's wild weekend away from home.

Raiden brings his enemy up to the sky and the Mortal Combat dragon appears in the moon. It must be watched to be believed, if you haven't already. He'll be lockin' and poppin' in Injustice 2: Electric Boogaloo this October.

NetherRealm have promised to continue supporting Injustice 2 for quite some time, with studio head Ed Boon claiming that the game should end up with more additional characters than any previous release.
